Rabi Pirzada

Rabi Pirzada (Urdu: رابی پیرزادہ) is a Pakistani former pop singer, television host, Artist and calligrapher.[1][2][3][4][5]

Career

Pirzada launched her career in 2004. She launched her first song Dahdi Kurree in 2005. Her other songs were Mujhe Ishq Hai, Jadoo, and Kisi Ke Ho Ke Raho. Her song Kisi Ke Ho Ke Raho was composed by the renowned song lyricist Shoaib Mansoor.

She had also started content writing for news websites such as US News Box. She has also hosted a weekly television show. Her TV drama production Qissa kursi ka was launched in July 2016. She frequently makes guest appearances on Pakistani television comedy and talk shows such as on Dunya News's show Mazaaq Raat. In 2018, Peerzada made her film debut in the film Shor Sharaba in the lead role alongside Meera.

Peerzada has several projects in making, including director Shahzad Gujjar's romantic-comedy film Court Marriage, which was announced in late 2017.[6] She is also reported to star in a Hollywood production.[7]

In the media

In 2017, she gained spotlight after an interview in which she criticized Bollywood films and actor Salman Khan, blaming them for promoting crime amongst the youth.[8]

Controversy

  • On 4 November 2019, she left the film industry due to her leaked nude picture and intimate videos.[9][10] Several self made nude videos in which Rabi was shown masturbating were leaked on Social Media.[11]
  • In 2019, Pirzada released videos of several pet reptiles. After that, she faced legal action by the Wildlife Department for caging reptiles and wild animals without a license. She also faced criticism for exposing and using these reptiles as props.[12]

Painting career

Rabi has been painting since she was eight years old.[18] She is a self-taught artist but comes to know about art specifics by a close friend and painter, J. Arif. She started with calligraphy and later painted various things. She sells her paintings to support orphan children.[19]
