René Lobello

René Lobello (Chambéry, 5 May 1963) is a French football coach.

He was most recently manager of Championnat National side Tours FC.

Biography

After his playing career, René Lobello became a coach in several countries, in Middle East, in North Africa but also in Switzerland.

Back in France, he worked in Metz and Sochaux before following Francis Gillot in Bordeaux and Shanghai.

New assistant of coach Christophe Galtier, who wants to expand his staff at AS Saint-Étienne in June 2016, he left the club a year later following the departure of the French coach.

He joined in August 2017 the Chinese club Liaoning Hongyun Football Club playing Chinese Superleague the equivalent of the French Ligue 1 .After a last place in the ranking, he is thanked in September 2017 after only 7 league games.

Lobello was appointed manager of newly-relegated Championnat National side Tours FC in June 2018.[1] He left the club in December 2018.[2]
