Ricky Bibey

Ricky Bibey (born (1981-09-22) 22 September 1981) is an English former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 2000s and 2010s. He played at representative level for England (A-Team), and at club level for Wigan Warriors (Heritage No. 941),[4] Leigh Centurions (Heritage No. 1211) (three spells), St. Helens (Heritage No. 1137), Oldham (Heritage No.) and Wakefield Trinity Wildcats (Heritage No. 1253), as a prop, or second-row.[1][2] He was forced to retire in May 2012 as a result of an achilles tendon injury.[5]

Ricky Bibey was born in Leigh, Greater Manchester, England.

Playing career

Bibey is one of the few players to win a Challenge Cup as both a Wigan Warriors and a St. Helens players as part of Wigan Warriors' 2002 Challenge Cup-winning squad and then in St. Helens' 2004 squad. Bibey was also a member of the Leigh Centurions side that won the Northern Rail Cup in 2006 but was injured when the Leigh Centurions won the same competition again in 2011.
