Rinku Rajguru

Prerana Mahadev "Rinku" Rajguru (born 3 June 2001) is an Indian actress primarily working in Marathi language films, best known for her role in the film Sairat.[2][3]

Life and career

Rajguru was born in Akluj town of Maharashtra on 3 June 2001 to Mahadev Rajguru.[1][4]

She met the director of Sairat, Nagraj Manjule, in 2013 and he asked her to audition for the role. She won a National Film Award - Special Jury Award / Special Mention (Feature Film) at the 63rd National Film Awards for her performance in Sairat.[2][5]

In the Kannada remake of Sairat, Manasu Mallige, Rajguru reprised her role.[6][7] Later, she appeared in films like Kaagar,[8] Makeup,[9] and Unpaused.[10]

She made her Bollywood debut with the 2019 Hindi film Jhund.[11][12]

Rajguru, along with Lara Dutta, debuted in digital space through Hotstar's action-comedy Hundred, released on 25 April 2020.[13][14]
