Research

In October 2019, Rishab Jain, was named America's Top Young Scientist[1] for his award-winning tool which harnesses artificial intelligence to improve radiotherapy for pancreatic cancer patients.[2] Jain's tool uses deep learning models trained on CT scan images of the abdomen. His tool segments the pancreas from the image in real-time so that radiologists can apply radiation therapy more effectively.[3]

Jain continues to develop more tools for pancreatic cancer. His latest invention diagnosing gene mutations using radiomics and artificial intelligence may help increase patient survival-rates by 7-13%.[4]
