Early Life and career

Ritviz was born in Darbhanga,[4] in the Indian State of Bihar and brought up in Pune, Maharashtra. His mother (Mrs. Anvita Bharti) is a classical vocalist and teaches Performing Arts as a lead teacher at Delhi Public School, Pune. His father (Mr. Pranay Prasoon) is a Trade Finance Manager (TFM) and also plays the tabla.[5] This resulted in an exposure to music from an early age. He started learning music at the age of six, and went on to be tutored by Pandit Uday Bhawalkar in the Dhrupad subgenre of Hindustani Music.[6] He composed his first song at the age of 10.[7] His preferred D.A.W. is "Ableton".[8]

His associated acts include a remix of Nucleya's track Lights, from 2016 album called Raja Baja.[9]

Teasers

On Tanmay Bhat's YouTube live-stream, on a Zoom call with Ritviz and Kaneez Surka, Tanmay played two of Ritviz's songs, "Oas Hai"[10] and another untitled track.[11] "Oas Hai" has a feature on the song by the rap duo Seedhe Maut, while the latter untitled track has a feature from the rapper DIVINE and is said to be co-produced by Nucleya.
