Rob may be best known for open-handedly sharing research--he has launched multiple global research studies to forecast trends then spearheaded massive partnerships and initiatives such as Bible App for Kids with YouVersion, Lead Today with John Maxwell and EQUIP, and Vision 2030 that mobilizes local churches to reach every child in every nation on the planet with God’s Word by 20300--and best practices, namely his highly successful measurement system of incorporating outcome-based methods.

Personal life
In 1986, Hoskins married his wife, Kim. They reside near OneHope’s global headquarters in Pompano Beach, Florida. They have two married daughters, Diandra and Natasha. The recent addition of granddaughter Zoey Marie brings them great joy.
Research
In 2007, Hoskins was instrumental in launching a 44-country research initiative named Spiritual State of the World’s Children, so that OneHope could learn more about the unique needs, experiences and social traditions of children and youth around the world,[4] including the United States.[5]
Over the course of 4 years, more than 152,000 13- to 19-year-olds on 5 continents answered questions about their life. The research was collected by the Metadigm Group;[6] the analysis was completed by Elite research in 2011. The research findings enable OneHope to customize its Scripture programs to address the specific needs of young people in different communities.[7]
Hoskins decided to make the research available for free so that other organizations may benefit from its findings.[8]
A research project is also underway to learn more about the thoughts and attitudes of Generation Z.
Recognition and Education
In 2005, Hoskins received the John Maxwell leadership award and five years later was named as one of 21 emerging leaders of the Church in Charisma Magazine.[9]
Rob holds a BA in Cultural Anthropology from Vanguard University, a MA of Theology from Evangelical Theological Seminary, a Doctor of Divinity for Distinguished Service in Spiritual Leadership from ORU and a Doctor of Ministry in World Missions and Cross-Cultural Studies from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
