Roger Picard

Joseph Roger Adrien Picard (born January 13, 1935[1][2][3]) is a retired professional ice hockey player and minor league head coach who played 15 games in the National Hockey League. He played with the St. Louis Blues. Roger is the brother of the late Noel Picard.

Picard played with his brother Noel for 15 games in St Louis in the 1967-1968 season. He spent most of the 1960s in the minors:[4]

Playing career

Picard was a member of the Montreal Canadiens farm teams before he went to play for the St. Louis Blues.[5]

Coaching career

After retiring he went on to become head coach with several teams in Quebec:[7]

Personal

Outside of hockey Picard and his brother Noel bred and trained horse in Quebec.[8]
