Rohan Kunnummal

Rohan Kunnummal (born 10 May 1998) is an Indian cricketer who represents Kerala in domestic cricket. He is a right-handed opening batsman and occasional right-arm offbreak bowler.[1]

Early life

Rohan was born on Palakkad to Sushil S. Kunnummal and Krishna M. He has a younger sister, Jitha.[2] He was brought up on Koyilandi, Kozhikode.[3] He was initially trained under his father, a cricket enthusiast and former cricketer. From the age is nine, he is training under coach Santhosh Kumar at Sussex cricket academy, Kozhikode.[4] He is graduated from Malabar Christian College, Kozhikode.[5]

Domestic career

Rohan is an attacking opening batsman.[6] He made his List A debut for Kerala in the 2016–17 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 3 March 2017.[7] He made his Twenty20 debut for Kerala in the 2018–19 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on 28 February 2019.[8] He made his first-class debut on 19 January 2020, for Kerala in the 2019–20 Ranji Trophy.[9]
