Roland Tichy

Roland Tichy (born 11 November 1955 in Bad Reichenhall) is a German author, economist and journalist.

Life

Tichy studied economics ans communication science in Munich and in New Orleans. After university Tichy worked as assistant at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. From 1983 to 1985, Tichy worked at German Chancellery for Helmut Kohl. In 1990es Tichy worked for German company Daimler-Benz (Corporate Issues Management).

Tichy was editor-in-chief of the German magazines Impulse (1991-1995), Euro (2002-2007) and Wirtschaftswoche (2007-2014).[1] Since 2014 Tichy is CEO of German organisation Ludwig-Erhard-Stiftung. Since 2016 Tichy has been the publisher of monthly magazine Tichys Einblick.[2] Since 2002, Tichy is member of the neoliberal Mont Pelerin Society Tichy is married to Andrea Tichy.
