The series is an alternate sequel to the graphic novel Watchmen by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons.[2]

Premise

Thirty-five years after the events of Watchmen, an unnamed homicide detective investigates the crimes committed by Wil Myerson, a comic book creator that took the mantle of Rorschach.[1]

Rorschach is a 12-issue comic book limited series by Tom King and Jorge Fornés, and is set in the present day as an alternate sequel to the graphic novel Watchmen by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, which doesn't contradict the HBO television series.[2]
