Ross Bay
Ross Graham Bay has been Bishop of Auckland in the Anglican Church of New Zealand[1] since 17 April 2010.[2]
Bay was educated in Papatoetoe and at the Bible College of New Zealand. He was ordained in 1989 and began his ministry with a curacy at Whangarei. Later he was priest assistant at St Matthew's, Auckland, and then vicar of Ellerslie. He became the vicar of St Mark's Remuera, in 2001 and was appointed Archdeacon of Auckland in 2006. His last post before being ordained to the episcopate[3] on 17 April 2010[4] was as the Dean of Holy Trinity Cathedral, Auckland. Bay currently serves on the Board Of Governors in Auckland for both prestigious, private secondary schools King's College and Diocesan School for Girls which both have strong links to the Anglican church; the Anglican Bishop of Auckland.
