Rostěnice-Zvonovice lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south-west of Vyškov, 25 km (16 mi) east of Brno, and 207 km (129 mi) south-east of Prague.
Administrative parts
The municipality is made up of villages of Rostěnice and Zvonovice.
History
The first written mention about Rostěnice is from 1141 and about Zvonovice is from 1355. Rostěnice and Zvonovice were merged into one municipality in 1960.[2]
