Rothwell (ward)
Rothwell is an electoral ward of Leeds City Council in south east Leeds, West Yorkshire, including the town of the same name and the villages of Carlton, Oulton and Woodlesford.

Notes
- Incumbent Carmel Hall (Liberal Democrats) died in office in July 2020. A successor will be elected when Hall's council seat is due to be contested in the upcoming 2021 Leeds City Council election. No by-election will be required as, in accordance with UK government regulations in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, all local government by-elections have been postponed to take place on 6 May 2021, the same date as the 2021 council election.[4][5]
- Cohen had been a councillor for Burley from 1978 to 1980 and Harehills ward from 1980 to 1996.
- Golton had previously been a councillor for Weetwood ward from 1998 to 2006.
- Bruce had previously been a Garforth and Swillington ward councillor from 1998 until losing her seat at the 2004 election.
- Following the 2019 election, Harrison changed her surname to Hall.
- Hall died in office in July 2020. No by-election will be required as a successor will be elected on 6 May 2021 in the 2021 council election, in accordance with UK government regulations in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.[15][16]
