Running with the Devil is a 2019 American crime thriller film written and directed by Jason Cabell and starring Nicolas Cage, Laurence Fishburne, Leslie Bibb and Barry Pepper. It is Cabell's directorial debut.[1]

It was released in the United States on September 20, 2019 Quiver Distribution and Redbox Entertainment.

Plot

The film follows the drug trade from creation to delivery and finding the reasons why the drugs are less quality.

Production

Filming began in Albuquerque, New Mexico on March 13, 2018,[3][4] then moved to Bogotá, Colombia on April 2[5] and wrapped on April 18.

Reception

The review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes reported that 24% of critics gave the film positive reviews, based on 25 reviews, with an average rating of 4.4/10.[6] On Metacritic, the film has a weighted average rating of 402out of 100, based on 7 critics, indicating "mixed or average reviews".[7]
