Rushworth railway line
The Rushworth line was a short branch line, used predominantly for grain traffic, which branched off the Goulburn Valley Line at Murchison East. It opened in September 1890.[2]

The line was eventually extended to Colbinabbin, opening in August 1914, and a branch from Rushorth to Girgarre opened in May 1917.[1] The line to Girgarre was closed back to Stanhope in 1975,[3] and the remaining sections were closed in October 1987.[4]
