Russ Gorman
Russell Neville Joseph Gorman (20 July 1926 – 3 January 2017) was an Australian politician. Born in Kandos, New South Wales, he served in the military from 1944-46[1] before becoming an overseer and personnel officer.

In 1983, he was elected to the Australian House of Representatives as the Labor member for Chifley. In 1984, he transferred to the new seat of Greenway. He held the seat until his retirement in 1996.[2] Gorman was the last veteran of the Second World War to serve in the House of Representatives.
