Ryu Kyung-soo

Ryu Kyung-soo (born 12 October 1992)[1] is a South Korean actor.[2] He is known for playing the role of Choi Seung-kwon, an ex-gangster in 2020 drama series Itaewon Class and 2019 TV series Confession. In 2019, he appeared in films such as Hit-and-Run Squad and A Resistance. In 2020, he is appearing in Hellbound as cult priest and in Lovestruck in the City.[3]

In this Korean name, the family name is Ryu.

Career

In March 2019, he joined the recurring cast of the series Confession in role of Han Jong-goo, a suspect in the Eun Seo-gu murder case.

On January 31, 2020, he joined the recurring cast of the Itaewon Class series where he played ex-gangster Choi Seung-kwon, one of "Dan Bam's" employees and Park Sae-ro-yi's (Park Seo-joon) friend and former cell-mate.

In 2020, he is appearing in Netflix super natural original series Hellbound as cult priest[4] and in multi-season rom-com web series City Couple's Way of Love of Kakao TV, which will depict the real love stories of young people who live fiercely with "another me" in a complex city. The first series Lovestruck in the City is set to air on December 8, 2020 and it will be available for streaming on Netflix.[5]
