Hellbound (TV series)

Hellbound (Korean: 지옥; Hanja: 地獄; RR: Jiok) is an upcoming South Korean television series directed by Yeon Sang-ho, based on his own webtoon of the same name. The series, starring Yoo Ah-in, Park Jung-min, Kim Hyun-joo and Won Jin-ah, is an original Netflix release about supernatural angels appearing out of nowhere to condemn people to hell. It will be premiered in 2021.[1][2]

Production

In April 2020, Netflix decided to make original series based on the webtoon Hellbound of director Yeon Sang-ho. Yeon also agreed to direct the series in the same name.[8] In late July, Yoo Ah-in, Park Jung-min, Kim Hyun-joo, Won Jin-ah, Yang Ik-jun, Kim Shin-rok, Ryu Kyung-soo and Lee Re were confirmed to play various roles in the series.[6][9][10]
