Sahifah Hammam ibn Munabbih
Sahifah Hammam ibn Munabbih (Arabic: صَحِيفَة هَمَّام ٱبْن مُنَبِّه) is sometimes quoted as one of the earliest surviving hadith collections compiled by Islamic Scholar Hammam ibn Munabbih (d. 101 AH/719 CE).[1][2]

Description
Generally considered to be the oldest surviving book of hadith, it is found in various Oriental manuscript libraries and a printed version is widely available. It was composed by 8th century scholar Hammam ibn Munabbih. It has been translated, in the 20th century, by Muhammad Hamidullah. Two copies of Sahifa Hammam bin Munabbih manuscript were discovered; one in a Damascus library and the other in a library in Berlin. Dr. Hamidullah published it after carefully comparing the two manuscripts.[3]
Hammam bin Munabbih (b. 19h) was a disciple of Abu Hurairah. It was generally known that the Sahifah had been completely included in the Musnad Ahmad.
Contested Authorship
Although muslim scholars and quite a few western orientalist hadith scholars confirm its attribution to Ibn Munabbih,[4][5] G.H.A. Juynboll argues that it was concocted by none other none than 'Azq.[6][7]
