Samantha Ricketts

Samantha Ricketts is an American, former collegiate All-American, right-handed hitting pro softball first basemen originally from San Jose, California. She is the current head coach of Mississippi State softball team.[1] She played her college career for the Oklahoma Sooners softball team from 2006-09, where she set the then career RBI record and was named a two-time Second Team NFCA All-American.[2][3] In the 2009 National Pro Fastpitch Senior Draft, she was selected 12th overall and played two seasons for the Akron Racers.[4] She is the sister of softball athletes Keilani Ricketts and Stephanie Ricketts.

On July 21, 2014, Ricketts was hired as an assistant coach for the Mississippi State softball program.[5]
