Sara Andersson

Sara Andersson (born June 1983) is a Swedish former long track speed skater, who was active between 1994 and 2010.[1] She is the older sister of speed skater Emma Andersoon.

Andersson represented her nation at ISU Speed Skating World Cups. She made her World Cup debut during the 2003–04 speed skating season in Inzell, Germany in the 3000 metres. She was also part of the team pursuit team whos set the Swedish record during the world cup in Calgary on 13 November 2005. She rode her last World Cup on 18 November 2007 in Calgary, Canada.[2]

Between 1999 and 2010 she had a total of 17 starts at national championships. She became national champion at the 2001 Swedish Sprint Championships and 2010 Swedish Allround Championships. Furthermore, she won 4 silver and 9 bronze medals at national championships.[2]
