Satya Narayan Sinha

Satya Narayan Sinha (9 July 1900 – 26 July 1983) was an Indian National Congress politician who served as the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs.

Details

He was elected to the Lower house of the Indian Parliament the Lok Sabha in 1952 from Samastipur East, 1957 and 1962 from Samastipur and in 1967 from Darbhanga in Bihar, India and was a member of the Constituent Assembly of India.[1][2][3][4]

Sinha served as Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Communications from 1964 to 1967, and as Minister for Health, Family Planning and Urban Development from 1967 to 1971. He was appointed Governor of Madhya Pradesh in 1971, and served in this role until 1977.[5] He died on 26 July 1983, aged 83.[6]
