History

"Scaligera" was founded in 1951. In the 1990s, the club reached the first division Serie A, staying that for ten years. They won the Italian Cup in 1991, the Italian SuperCup in 1997 and the FIBA Korać Cup in 1998.

In 2002, the club went bankrupt. A new organisation born in 2010 retook the "Scaligera" name.
