Scape One

Scape One is an English electro producer and recording artist.

Career

Scape One began producing and writing electro music in the early 1980s, concentrating on live performances within the local hip hop and dance scenes along the UK's South Coast. In the mid-1990s, he began producing with Transparent Sound, who were issuing new Electro releases on their own label. With this collaboration came releases on various labels, including Freaks Frequency.

As an independent producer, Scape One has created material for various underground Electro labels in Europe, the UK and the United States. One of his first releases was "Simple Machines" was one of his first releases, followed by the "Planet Funk Express" series, which focused on the global development and diversity of Electro. Subsequent releases each focused on a certain theme with a Synthetic funk sound. He has performed live and played DJ sets in New York City, London, Barcelona, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Chicago, Glasgow, Miami, Dublin, Seattle, and Leipzig.
