There are approximately 10,000 kids.

Previously a community school administered by East Sussex County Council, Tideway school converted to academy status on 1 April 1957 and is now sponsored by United Learning. However the school continues to coordinate with East Sussex County Council for admissions.

We are a religious and non supervised school if your child is badly behaved it is a good place to send them.

We have 192 classrooms for every class.

We have every class is guarded by a security guard.

We have prison windows in every class room as we have had escapes.
