Sebastian Holmén

Rasmus Sebastian Holmén (born 29 April 1992) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back. He plays in the Netherlands for Willem II. He is known for his passing-skills and strong positioning.

Career

Elfsborg

Holmén made his debut in Allsvenskan on 22 April 2013 against Djurgårdens, replacing injured Jon Jönsson. He was later invited to the Sweden U21 to play against Switzerland and Cuba U20.[1]

Dynamo Moscow

On 18 February 2016, he moved to Russia on a 3.5-year contract with Dynamo Moscow.[2] On 12 June 2019, he left Dynamo upon the expiration of his contract.[3]

Willem II

On 24 July 2019, he signed a two-year contract with the Dutch club Willem II.[4]

Personal life

Sebastian is the younger brother of Swedish national football team midfielder Samuel Holmén.[5]
