Seth Lewis

Seth Lewis will be a Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives from the 45th district. The 45th district, located in the Chicagoland area, includes all or parts of Addison, Bartlett, Bloomingdale, Carol Stream, Elk Grove Village, Hanover Park, Itasca, Roselle, Streamwood, Wayne, West Chicago, and Wood Dale.[1]

Lewis was elected to the 45th district after defeating incumbent Democrat Diane Pappas.

Early life, education, and career

Lewis was raised in Iowa where he graduated from the University of Iowa and earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering.[2][3] He first worked for Culligan International for 8 years before becoming "vice president of operations for a small business in Melrose Park, Illinois."[3] Some time after 2006, Lewis "[changed] his career and became an independent business owner and [became] a State Farm agent."[3]

Personal life

Lewis has been married to Dr. Bhavna Sharma-Lewis since 1997 with whom he's had two children. He and his family have lived in Bartlett, Illinois since 2001.
