- New York Times review 11 October 1945 "In producing this comedy-romance Universal frequently interrupts the story with night-club floor-show sequences which would be even duller than they are if Ginny Simms were not around, and in good voice, to sing "Cuddle Up a Little Closer" and "In Love With Love."
