Shorty Ellsworth

Alfred Chester "Shorty" Ellsworth (1881 – 1963) was an American football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado from 1904 to 1907.[1][2]

He was a college football player at the University of Chicago,[3] lettering under legendary coach Amos Alonzo Stagg in 1901 and 1902.[4]
