Simon Keay
Simon James Keay, FBA (born May 1954) is a British archaeologist and academic. He is a specialist in the archaeology of the early Roman Mediterranean, particularly Italy and Iberia. He is Professor of Roman Archaeology at the University of Southampton. He has also been a research professor and director of archaeology at the British School at Rome since 2006.[1]
Honours
In July 2016, Keay was elected a Fellow of the British Academy (FBA), the United Kingdom's national academy for the humanities and social sciences.[2][3]
