Sirajul Hossain Khan

Sirajul Hossain Khan (1927-2007) is a Jatiya Party politician and the former Member of Parliament of Habiganj-2.

Early life

Khan was born in 1927 in Baniachong Village, Baniachong Upazila, Habiganj District, East Bengal, British Raj.[1][2]

Career

Khan served in the Bangladesh Liberation war in the Bangladesh Muktijoddha Samannay Parishad. He was elected to parliament from Habiganj-2 as a Jatiya Party candidate in 1986. He served as the Editor of Pakistan Times and the Eastern News Agency. He was a unionist who served as the General Secretary of the East Pakistan Journalists Union and Bangladesh Sramik Federation.[3][4]

Death

Khan died on 18 February 2007.[3]
