Sirkan

Sirkan (Persian: سيركان, also Romanized as Sīrkān)[2] is a city in and the capital of Bam Pasht District, in Saravan County, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,347, in 284 families.[3]

Demography

As of the census of 2016, there were 2,196 people and 557 families living in the town.

Education

Sirkan is regarded as one of the most underdeveloped regions in Iran, but the students have shown unexpected performance in Iranian University Entrance Exam.

One of the most prominent students is Emran Dorrazehi, who ranked 6 in Iranian University Entrance Exam for English Literature and has been accepted at University of Tehran.
