Sizwe Nxasana

Sizwe Nxasana (born 7 August 1957) is a South African business executive and accountant. He is the former CEO of Telkom Group and FirstRand Group and was[1] a chairman of NSFAS and is founder of Sifiso Learning Group. Sizwe is also a member of South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Nxasana was cited as one of the Top 100 most influential Africans by New African magazine in 2016.[2]

Life

Nxasana holds a BCom from University of Fort Hare and a Bachelor of Accounting Science (Honours) degree (UNISA) and was one the first 10 African CA's in South Africa.

He is the former CEO of FirstRand Limited and Telkom SA Limited from 1998 to 2005. He served as National President of ABASA from 1991 to 1994. He is the former chairperson of NSFAS. He is the founder of Sifiso Learning Group and Future Nations Schools.

He is married to Dr Judy Dlamini and they have two children.[3][4]
