Sky Watch

Sky Watch, also known as Sky Watch Civil Air Patrol (SWCAP), is a volunteer civil aviation organisation founded in 2000 in the United Kingdom in Yorkshire. The program federates efforts of small aircraft and microlight pilots to assist air traffic control and emergency services by providing search and rescue and air-sea rescue resources when called upon. It has over 200 members and is the "largest charitable air observation organisations in Europe".[1]

While similar in function to the United States Civil Air Patrol, Sky Watch is considerably younger and does not have the same degree of integration with the air force.
