Felipe Monteiro Diogo (born 17 July 1988), known as Sodinha, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays for Italian Serie C club Modena.

Career

He began his career in the Paulista youth team, a team from his hometown, Jundiaí, and later decides to adopt the nickname "Sodinha", used by his father when he was a footballer. In 2008, at the age of 20, he was bought by Udinese, who in the following years gave him on loan to various Italian teams. He made his debut in Serie B in the 2008-2009 season with the Bari shirt. At the end of the season he made 4 appearances, and Bari was promoted to Serie A by winning the championship. He will then wear the jerseys of Paganese and Portogruaro in Lega Pro Prima Divisione.After being inactive for a season, in 2012 he decides to return to Brazil at Ceará [, but immediately returns to Italy to join Brescia, in Serie B, with which he scores his first goal on the 19th day of the 2013-14 championship , in the home victory over Varese 4-2 . In the summer of 2014, following his incorrect behavior, he came out of the squad by the coach Ivo Iaconi. In the summer of the same year, he signed a contract for Mestre, a Serie C militant, for the 2017/2018 season During the January 2018 transfer market he moved to Rezzato, a Brescia club militant in Serie D. On 17 July 2019 he returns to the professional side by signing for Modena, in Serie C. The debut comes in the second league match against Piacenza, a match where he hits the crossbar after a penalty kick. In a short time he became a cornerstone of the team, both with Mauro Zironelli and Michele Mignani, also becoming vice-captain of the canary club. He scored his first Gialloblù goal in the home match against Rimini, while thanks to his free-kick goal, Modena managed to equalize against Arzignano. In the home match against Ravenna, due to the absence of captain Armando Perna due to injury, he wears the captain's armband for the first time. At the beginning of January, in a friendly match against Colorno, he injured his calf, an event that led him to stay off the pitch for a month and a half. Back available for the match won against Sudtirol, in which, however, he is not deployed on the field. After the stop due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the company decides to renew his contract.
