Space Delta 2

Space Delta 2 (DEL 2) is the United States Space Force's space domain awareness delta. It prepares forces to execute combat-ready Space Domain Awareness (SDA) operations to deter aggression through and from space. Activated on 24 July 2020, the delta is headquartered at Peterson Air Force Base. Its current commander is Colonel Matthew S. Cantore.[1]

It was based upon the previous 21st Operations Group of the 21st Space Wing, Peterson AFB, Colorado.[2]
