Speed, Indiana

Speed is an unincorporated community in Silver Creek Township, Clark County, Indiana, United States. It used to be known as Petersburg.[3]

History

A post office was established at Speed in 1922, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1963.[4] The community was named for W. S. Speed, a local industrialist.[5]
