Sunder Deep Group of Institutions

Sunder Deep Group of Institutions is a private college located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.[1] It consists of nine colleges and offers degree and diploma programmes in engineering, law, management, pharmacy, design and education.[2] It is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University and Chaudhary Charan Singh University.[3] The institute is located close to the town of Dasna,[4] approximately 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) from the Ghaziabad bus stand and 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) from the Ghaziabad Junction railway station.[5]

Infrastructure

The campus covers an area of 0.13 square kilometres (32 acres). The college infrastructure includes multiple functional blocks, a central library, lecture halls, tutorial rooms, a drawing hall, workshops and a mechanical engineering laboratory. The college also has student support facilities which include hostels, a canteen, a stationery shop, medical support, transport and a student activity centre.[6]

Admissions

Admission to the undergraduate Bachelor of Technology is decided based on results achieved in the State Entrance Examination - Uttar Pradesh Technical University (SEE-UPTU). Admission in other courses is through state level entrance.

Colleges
  • Sunder Deep Engineering College: A technical institute run by the Sunder Deep Educational Society. The degrees offered by this institute include Bachelor of Technology, Master of Technology, Master of Computer Applications and Master of Business Administration. To get admission in B.Tech the student must have minimum 45% score for general and 40% score for reserved category in the schooling or passed diploma in engineering and technology with minimum 45% marks.
  • Sunder Deep Pharmacy College: It was established in 2007 and is recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India. It offers B. Pharm and M. Pharm courses to students who have passed high school in science stream with physics and chemistry as their primary subjects.
  • Sunder Deep College of Hotel Management: It offers 4-year bachelor's degree of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (BHMCT) affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow and approved by AICTE New Delhi. The criteria for the course is high school pass with minimum 45% score for general and 40% score for reserved category. The college also prepares student For B. Sc. HHA which is affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Noida. The eligibility for B. Sc. HHA is 10+2/Intermediate graduate with English as one of the subjects.
  • Sunder Deep College of Management & Technology- It offers BBA, BCA and B.Com courses affiliated to CCS University, Meerut. The eligibility for these courses is school graduate from a recognized Board with 45% for General and OBC students.
  • Sunder Deep College of Architecture: It provides B.Arch course for students looking for a career in architecture. The eligibility hinges on a NATA / JEE qualification who have passed high school with physics, chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects with 50% in aggregate and 50% in each subject.
  • Suresh Deep Polytechnic: It offers diploma courses civil engineering, electronics engineering, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering. For admission the student should achieve minimum 35% marks in the qualifying exam.
  • Sunder Deep College of Law: The college is approved by Bar Council of India (BCI) and is affiliated to CCS University, Meerut. It offers BA LLB (5 years) and LLB (3 years) programs. The Eligibility for BA LLB is 10+2 from a recognized Board, with 45% marks and to get admission in LLB course, a student must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
  • Sunder Deep College of Education & Information: It offers D.El. Ed (former name BTC) programmes in from 2016, which is approved by NCTE Jaipur. D.El.Ed is a full-time two-year diploma course affiliated to State Council of Education, Research & Training (SCERT) Allhabad and it is approved by NCTE Jaipur.
