Biography

He graduated with a degree in Economics from the Faculty of Political Science and Economics from Rio de Janeiro (1979),[5] He received his B.Sc in Mathematics from Universidade Federal de Roraima (1993),He has a Msc in Economics at Federal University of Pernambuco (1987),and received his Ph.D in Applied Economics from University of Sao Paulo 1999,Supervising Professor.Dr.Eleuterio Fernando da Silva Prado.

His work has been devoted to the development of a scientific basis for Microeconometrics, with special emphasis on models of individuals in decision-making, and the problems and possibilities created by contemporary society.

Past Students

Tácito has supervised the graduating research of a large number of graduate students in Economics, Sociology and administration at Federal University of Sergipe . Many of his former students have gone on to successful academic careers. Some of his students include:

  • Fábio Rodrigues de Moura Ph.D,He was an economics student at UFS, Professor of Economics Federal University of Sergipe
  • João Francisco do Lago Rodrigues Ph.D,He was a Master's student in Sociology ,Adjunct professor at Tiradentes University
