Tarek Hamed

Tarek Mohamed Hamed (Arabic: طارق محمد حامد; born 24 October 1988) is an Egyptian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Egyptian Premier League club Zamalek and Egyptian national team. He is considered one of the best defensive midfielder in Africa known as the warrior.

Club career

Smouha

Hamed was a key player for Smouha under the management of Hamada Sedki. He succeeded in being a runner-up in both the Egyptian Premier League and Egypt Cup.

Zamalek

In 2014, Hamed signed for Zamalek. Although he participated in most matches as a substitute for Ibrahim Salah. He became one of the most important players in the team. Fans started calling him (the fighter) because of his hardworking and great strong performance in the field .

International career

Hamed is capped by the national team gaining his first cap against Saudi Arabia national team.[2] In May 2018 he was named in Egypt’s preliminary squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.[3]
