The Access Survey

The Access Survey is an annual survey of disabled people in the United Kingdom carried out by Euan's Guide. First carried out in 2014, The Access Survey gathers information on disabled people's experiences of, and attitudes toward accessibility in the United Kingdom.[1] The results of the access survey have been used to shape accessibility policy in the tourism sector.

Implementation

The Access Survey was first carried out in October 2014 and is carried out annually.[2] The survey was designed with the aim of better understanding disabled people's experiences of accessibility. The findings of the survey have been used to shape accessibility guides published by public sector bodies including VisitScotland[3] and VisitBritain.[4]
