The Amazing World of Gumball (season 6)
The sixth and final season of the British-American animated television series The Amazing World of Gumball, created by Ben Bocquelet, premiered on Cartoon Network in the United States on January 5, 2018. The series focuses on the misadventures of Gumball Watterson, a blue 12-year-old cat, along with his adopted brother, Darwin, a goldfish. Together, they cause mischief among their family, as well as with the wide array of students at Elmore Junior High, where they attend middle school. Unlike the previous seasons of the show, this season has 44 episodes,[1] making it the longest season of the series. This season also contains the show's 200th episode "The Vegging", which was led into by a three-day long marathon of the series from January 13 to 15, 2018.

Production
On June 22, 2016, Cartoon Network renewed the series for a sixth season.[2]
This is the final season where Donielle T. Hansley Jr. voices Darwin. He voices Darwin until Christian J. Simon takes the role in "The Anybody" onward when Darwin clears his throat.
The sixth season production began on July 13, 2017 and ended on October 24, 2018.
On October 7, 2018, the series creator retweeted a tweet with an article saying that the sixth season may be the final season,[3][4] but the author of that article made a follow-up article clarifying that there could still be more seasons.[5][6][7]

Clayton (the red ball of clay known for being a liar) poses as Gumball so Gumball can get out of home time detention after he got distracted by deactivates other alarm clocks and ending up in the Robinsons' bed which it causes him to have a bad day of missing the bus and got punished by Miss Simian for being late at school, but Clayton takes his shapeshifting powers too far and ends up posing as different people in Elmore and framing them for misdemeanors. The two must follow him to apologise to Clayton, but they ends up fall into the bottom of the sewers and Gumball was attacked by a hungry alligator. Note: This is Christian J. | Elmore suddenly loses its color and turns black and white. | School Superintendent Evil, a live action character, comes to Elmore Junior High and critiques the quality of the school. He begins banishing all cartoonish behavior and transforming everyone into realistic people to eventually make them live action like himself. Gumball and Darwin race to save everyone and manage to change everyone back to normal, only to discover that Evil is actually Rob in disguise. He tries to justify his actions and warn everyone about an unspecified event, but Tina knocks him out. Rob wakes up in the school late at night as the void opens beneath him and swallows the rest of the school away. The scene freezes as the distorted notes to the credits play. | ||||||||
