The Line (city)
The Line (Arabic: ذا لاين) is a planned city in the Tabuk Province of northwestern Saudi Arabia.[2] The city is planned to extend over 170 km (105 miles) and be able to house a million residents. It is planned to be powered by 100% clean energy, and its infrastructure would cost $100 billion to $200 billion.[3]

Location
The Line is located in NEOM, linking the coast of the Red Sea with the mountains and upper valleys of the north-west of Saudi Arabia.
Description
The Line is a planned 170 km-long linear urban development. It is claimed by the Saudi government that it will create 380,000 jobs, spur economic diversification and contribute SAR 180 bn to domestic GDP by 2030. It is planned to be powered by 100% renewable energy and to have business regulations based on environmental responsibility.
Climate
The weather in The Line is different than most regions in Saudi Arabia, and is one of the areas where snow can be found during the winter. The area around the proposed location is popular due to the ocean breeze and aquatic recreation opportunities.
