The Zetkin Collective

The Zetkin Collective is an activist group in Sweden made up of students and academics.[3] It focuses on analyzing and explaining the political ecology of the far-right,[3][4] including ecofascism and Malthusianism[5] as well as climate change denial and eco-nationalism.[6][7] The group formed within the human ecology department of Lund University.[8]

The collective is named after Clara Zetkin, a German Marxist theorist who studied the Italian fascist movement in 1923.[9]

In 2020, the collective's French-language book Fascisme fossile: L’extrême droite, l’énergie, le climat was published by La Fabrique[10][11] and named a book of the day by Philosophie Magazine.[12]
