Thelo Aasgaard

Thelonious Gerard Aasgaard (born 5 February 2002) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for English club Wigan Athletic.

Career

Aasgaard joined the youth academy of Wigan Athletic in 2016.[2] Aasgaard made his professional debut with Wigan in a 1–0 EFL League One loss at home to Peterborough United on 20 October 2020.[3] He scored his first goal for Wigan in a 2-1 defeat against Oxford United on 21 November 2020.[4]

International career

Aasgaard was born in England, and is of Norwegian descent through his father, and of French descent through his mother. He has represented the Norway under-16 team 3 times.[5]
