Life and career

Dillon entered the stand-up scene in around 2010, and has also worked as a New York City tour guide. After a 2016 appearance at the Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal,[2] Rolling Stone named Dillon as one of the "10 Comedians You Need to Know" in 2017.[3][4] He currently hosts his own podcast The Tim Dillon Show, having previously hosted another podcast, Tim Dillon is Going to Hell on GaS Digital Network.[5][6] Dillon has also made numerous guest appearances on podcasts such as The Joe Rogan Experience,[7] The Fighter and the Kid, This Past Weekend, Legion of Skanks, The Real Ass Podcast, Cum Town, Your Mom's House and H3 Podcast.[8] Along with Luis J. Gomez and Nick Mullen, Dillon was also a co-host of the Real Ass Podcast spin-off podcast Bastard Radio in 2020. He also appeared as a guest on Whitney Cumming's podcast Good For You. [9]

A native of Long Island, New York, Dillon has spoken of being raised by a schizophrenic mother.[10] He is openly gay.[3]

Politically, having regarded himself as leaning conservative at one point,[1] in 2016, Dillon stated "I don't think politically I line up with anything. I think it's all fake."[11] By the 2020 US election, Dillon repeatedly expressed support for Bernie Sanders in the 2020 Democratic primary.[12] He has said he did not vote in the general election due to disapproval at both Donald Trump and Joe Biden.[13]
