Todor Bechirov
Todor Bechirov (15 April 1927 Plovdiv, Bulgaria - 21 March 2010[1]) was a Bulgarian footballer as goalkeeper and international football referee.[2]
Player career
Todor Bechirov played as goalkeeper for some Bulgarian football clubs such as PFC Botev Plovdiv in 1943–46, PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv[3] in 1947–56.[4][5]
Referee career
After footballer career he became referee and was member of FIFA in 1966–74. He officiated four international matches. He refereed two EURO qualifying 1968 (1), 1972 (1) and a match in 1970 World Cup qualifying[6] and other was in friendly match.
In club football he refereed some UEFA competition matches such as Champions League (1), UEFA Cup (3) and Cup Winners Cup (2).[7]
