Tom Krajewski
Thomas B. Krajewski (born April 2, 1977) is an American television writer and podcast producer/host. He is known for his work on YooHoo & Friends, Buddy Thunderstruck and Action Dad and then as Tom “Super Volcano” Krajewski on the "Half Hour Happy Hour" podcast with Alison and Alex.[1]
Early life
In 1987 at the age of 10, Tom decided he wanted to act after seeing Michael J. Fox in Back to the Future. Tom's mother, Ann, suggested the Winchester Cooperative Theatre. Tom memorized the Gettysburg Address in order to audition for Willy Wonka and got a small role. The following year, he was chosen to play the lead role of Pinocchio.
Tom worked with the Magic Circle Theatre with Brian Milauskas, also from Winchester. In 1990, Milauskas sent a letter to a number of pupils he thought should try out for a miniseries about the Kennedy family titled "The Kennedys of Massachusetts". Despite his mother throwing away the letter and telling him it would be a waste of time, he persisted. His mother relented and took the day off work and took Tom to the casting agency. Although unprepared, with only a wallet-sized photo in place of a portfolio with headshots, Tom auditioned for a number of roles including a young John F. Kennedy Jr. Eventually Tom was offered the role of a 9 to 12 year old John F. Kennedy Jr. which he accepted, going on to do the series.
Career
Tom developed an interest in writing following his graduation from Winchester High School in 1995. He then went on to study at Emerson College, where he received a film degree in 1999. Following his graduation he moved to Los Angeles, California to take up an internship where he worked on "Talk Soup" and "The Anna Nicole Show" before moving on to more actively pursue writing. He got a job at Paramount as a producer's assistant followed by a similar position at Nickelodeon. While at Nickelodeon, he began writing scripts for the Catscratch and The Fairly OddParents.[2]
Tom went on to work on YooHoo & Friends (2012), Action Dad (2012) and most recently writing Buddy Thunderstruck (2017).[3]
BID
Starting April 11, 2015, Tom has been a member of the "Half Hour Happy Hour" podcast, a weekly podcast discussing news, technology and random stuff for approximately 30 mins (usually longer).
