Toneisha Harris
Toneisha Harris (born October 2, 1975) is an American singer-songwriter. She is the runner-up of season 18 of the American talent competition The Voice behind the winner Todd Tilghman.[1]

Personal life
Toneisha Harris was born on October 2, 1975, in Salisbury, Maryland. When she was 12, she joined her family's gospel group. She left the group she was 27 and decided to pursue her own career. In 2012, she auditioned for The Voice and was supposed to go on, until her son was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 12.[2]
Career
In 2020, Harris entered the 18th season of The Voice, after originally planning to audition in 2012. In her blind audition, She sang "I Want To Know What Love Is" by Foreigner. All four coaches turned their chairs and fought hard for her. Toneisha chose to become a member of Team Blake.[3] She made it to the finale and became the runner-up on May 19, 2020.
